The House of Commons Library has published analysis of the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Minimum Age) Bill 2021-22, a Private Member’s Bill that has its second reading in the Commons on 19 November 2021. The Bill would raise to 18 the minimum age for marriage and civil partnership in England and Wales.
